On the morning of October 7th, Marcus and Lauren from Southern California embarked on a thrilling fishing adventure aboard the Blue Star, a 32-foot Luhrs, with Blue Sky Cabo Fishing and Tours. The couple, excited for a day on the water, set out early with Captain Jorge leading the way. Shortly into the trip, their first big moment arrived Marcus hooked into a powerful marlin. The fight was intense, but with Captain Jorge’s guidance and encouragement from Lauren, he skillfully reeled in the first marlin of the day. The thrill of the catch energized the couple, and they took a few photos with the magnificent fish before releasing it back into the deep blue sea.
Not long after, it was Lauren’s turn as she felt a strong tug on her line. She braced herself for what would be an equally exciting battle with a second marlin. With determination and a little teamwork from Marcus, Lauren successfully brought the fish aboard, adding to their incredible day.
But the action wasn’t over yet. Both Marcus and Lauren each landed a vibrant dorado, rounding out their catch with one dorado per angler. These beautiful fish, known for their striking colors and great taste, were kept as a special treat to take home.
