Cabo Fishing Report — July 30th delivered a fun and memorable Cabo fishing charter aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star with Captain Chewy, as a mixed family group from Sacramento enjoyed a 6-hour offshore adventure. The anglers included Jose, Holly, Alfred, Curtis, and Lucas, with 14-year-old Lucas bringing plenty of youthful energy to the family fishing trip. The crew worked productive offshore water throughout the charter and connected with one large tuna, creating the standout fishing moment of the day. Summer is an exciting time for Cabo tuna fishing, when warm water and active bait can bring powerful tuna into the offshore grounds. Afternoon conditions were warm, with temperatures around 90°F, water temperatures near 78°F, and moderate winds creating comfortable but active conditions on the Pacific. The family group enjoyed plenty of teamwork as the crew kept the trolling spread working and searched for additional opportunities. During the charter, the boat departed from B Dock, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico, before heading offshore in search of game fish.
