Jackie, Tom, Liam, Emily, Ben, Jessica and Stan returned to the water on August 7 for their second Blue Sky Cabo fishing day. The seven anglers, visiting primarily from the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, boarded the 32′ Blue Star Luhrs at F Dock for a full eight-hour charter. Their second outing produced six dorado before the scheduled 2:00 PM return.

Returning Anglers Get Another Cabo Fishing Day
The August 7 charter was different before the Blue Star even left the marina.
This was Jackie’s group’s second fishing day.
Returning for another charter gives anglers a chance to experience how quickly Cabo waters can change. The ocean does not simply repeat the previous trip. Bait moves, currents shift and gamefish can appear in completely different areas.
That means the second day starts with a fresh search.
With eight hours available, the group had enough time to let the crew work through the morning and continue adjusting as conditions developed.
Six Dorado Reward a Full Cabo Fishing Charter
Dorado supplied all six catches on this trip.
Summer is an important period for dorado around Cabo San Lucas as warm water can bring these highly mobile gamefish into offshore and nearshore areas.
Finding them is rarely as simple as driving to one permanent location.
Crews watch for birds, weed lines, floating debris, bait concentrations, current edges and other surface clues that may indicate life underneath.
Once dorado are located, the situation can change quickly. A quiet search can suddenly become an active cockpit when multiple fish begin showing interest.
Jackie and the group finished the day with six dorado.
Eight Hours Creates More Cabo Fishing Options
The eight-hour charter was particularly useful because it gave the Blue Star a larger working window.
Short trips can produce excellent fishing, but time becomes a hard boundary. An eight-hour day allows more opportunity to search, change areas and remain with developing activity.
Jackie, Tom, Liam, Emily, Ben, Jessica and Stan departed at 6:00 AM and had until 2:00 PM before returning to F Dock.
Lunch was provided for all seven guests, allowing the group to remain focused on the day’s fishing without interrupting the charter.
The longer format also gave them a noticeably different experience from a quick morning excursion.
A Second Cabo Fishing Experience Builds the Story
One of the most interesting aspects of this report is that the anglers had already been fishing with Blue Sky Cabo.
Jackie’s group had previously fished August 4 aboard the 35′ Blue Water Riviera, recording three dorado and two skipjack.
Three days later, they were back.
This time the boat was the 32′ Blue Star Luhrs, the charter was eight hours, and the catch consisted entirely of dorado.
That contrast illustrates why individual charter reports are valuable. Even when the anglers are the same, the next fishing day can produce a completely different experience.
Cabo Fishing Produces Six Dorado for Seven Anglers
By 2:00 PM, the Blue Star was returning toward F Dock with six dorado recorded.
For seven anglers from the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, this wasn’t simply another vacation activity. It was their second fishing day during the same Cabo trip.
That decision gave Jackie, Tom, Liam, Emily, Ben, Jessica and Stan another opportunity to experience the changing conditions of Cabo waters and another full day aboard a private sportfishing boat.
The final result was straightforward: eight hours, seven anglers and six dorado.
More importantly, their August 7 charter became the second chapter of their Cabo fishing experience—and a reminder that no two days on the water unfold exactly the same way.
