Cabo Fishing Report – May 25, 2026 One dorado was successfully caught during this exciting 5-hour Cabo fishing charter aboard the 32-foot Blue Star Luhrs with Captain Chewy. Jeremy, Sarah, Emma, and 9-year-old Jackson traveled from San Antonio, Texas, looking forward to an unforgettable family adventure on the waters of Cabo San Lucas. Captain Chewy deployed the LP Dredge Fish Attraction Device shortly after leaving the marina, attracting bait schools and increasing the chances of finding active gamefish offshore. Weather conditions were outstanding with sunny skies, an air temperature of 88°F (31°C), northwest winds of 8–10 mph, calm seas, and a water temperature averaging 79°F (26°C). The family’s patience paid off when a vibrant dorado struck the spread and put on an exciting fight filled with powerful runs and spectacular leaps before Captain Chewy expertly helped bring the fish aboard. The fresh dorado provided excellent table fare and capped off a memorable day for the entire Leland family.
