Blue Sky Cabo Fishing Report – June 23, 2026 Michigan anglers Mike and Kevin experienced favorable offshore conditions during their six-hour morning charter aboard the Blue Sky Cabo 32-foot Luhrs departing at 6:00 AM from Cabo San Lucas. Captain Chewy targeted productive waters approximately 12 to 16 miles offshore where water temperatures averaged 84°F and visibility exceeded 80 feet. Morning air temperatures began at 81°F and reached 89°F by late morning. Light northwest winds of 6 to 8 mph combined with a gentle 1- to 2-foot swell created ideal marlin fishing conditions throughout the trip. After locating active bait concentrations and bird activity, the crew deployed tournament-grade tackle, teasers, and rigged baits across several current edges. The charter recorded one striped marlin release after the fish struck aggressively during mid-morning. Following multiple runs and several aerial displays, the marlin was successfully leadered and released in healthy condition. No additional gamefish strikes were recorded during the outing. Guests fishing with Blue Sky Cabo depart from the professional team based at IGY Marina near Dock F in Cabo San Lucas.
