By | Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report | No Comments

Captain Gilbert and his crew took this group for a quick trip.

The guys just wanted a guarantee to catch at least one fish.

So the best place to do so is Santa Maria Canyon.

All sorts of fish tend to be found amongst the rocks and ledges.

Experiencing the great fishing fish…. the Rooster.

May 3rd Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report

By | Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report | No Comments

Early morning departure for this group, not a cloud in the sky.

Captain Eddy and his crew headed out to an area called San Jaime Bank.

San Jaime Bank  is the closet bank from the marina.

There is a pathway between the San Jaime Bank and Golden Gate, that creates an underwater current pathway.

Super hot spot for Skipjack, Tuna and Bonita.

The bait was working its magic today!

April 20th ~Cabo San Lucas Tuna and Bonita Fishing Report

By | Cabo Fishing Blog | No Comments

Sometimes when there is a group of younger clients, they just want to catch fish.

They are not fussy… just want some fighting fish.

Captain  Eddy knows a spot a short distance into the pacific.

Tuna and Bonita are Coastal fish that will inhabit areas close to shore.

Live mackerel and trolling lines in place.

One hit after another, this group will remember this day for a long time.

FYI: Bonita are just as tasty as tuna when cut up and served fresh!

April 7th ~Cabo San Lucas Red Snapper Fishing Report

By | Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report | No Comments

Early morning departure on 32′ Yacht Blue Star ,with Captain Julio and his Crew.

Started  out with a slow troll, heading east into the warmer waters of   the Sea of Cortez.

Trolling around rocks and coral is a good place to find bottom fish.

Cabo is know for some good size Snapper.

Snapper are one of the many bottom dwelling fish.

Just make sure you use live bait, they cant resist a fresh yellowtail mackerel.

If you are lucky your live bait will entice a larger snapper.

This lucky group was able to land this impressive one.
