Oct 24th Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report

Blue Sky Cabo strongly agrees with Catch and Release.

We Found a recent study offers some surprising conclusions, about the mortality of billfish hooked and released.

About 86 percent of billfish released alive will survive, and this is true no matter how they’re caught — on light gear, on heavy tackle or even on commercial longlines.

That’s pretty good odds!!

These ladies sure had a fantastic day… Dorado, Sailfish and a Marlin.

Thats a pretty Fabulous day, thanks to Captain Gilberto and his Crew.

The Ultimate Fishing Day

Sailfish. Dorado. Marlin wow

Captain Gilbert and his crew took this group out for a full day.

On departing the Marina took a right into the Pacific.

Slow troll up the coast to Pozo De Cota.

Poza De Cota is about an hour an 10 minutes from the Marina.

Sailfish season is September, October, November.

Not as common as a Marlin or Dorado in Cabo.

This is a treat to catching all 3 in one trip.

7 can you say 7…

That’s right Captain Gilberto and crew set out for a 6 hr trip.

Aboard our largest  Yacht 60′ Blue Sea.

Helped this group out with landing 7 Marlin.

Weather conditions are still in our favor.

“95 spot” just doesn’t disappoint this week.

It is only a 9 mile to the east of Cabo San Lucas marina.

Tired arms for this group and  only one Marlin didn’t make it.

The Marlin will be measured and brought to our locals for cooking.
